Norwich Fashion Week 2016.

Here in our fine city of Norwich, Norwich Fashion Week is now in its sixth year, comprising ten days of events. NFW celebrates the best of our local talent. When we were approached to join forces with Hoskins Hair, it was a resounding yes from us. The show offered us the perfect platform to shine a light on our latest Adult’s Collection.

We were really fortunate to be assigned such a great team. Jamie of Hoskin’s Hair was definitely a kindred spirit – his salon pride themselves on delivering beautiful and timeless cuts using sustainably sourced products – an ethos close to our own heart, as all of our adults wear carry both Ethical Trade and Justice for Workers mark and Confidence in Textiles accreditation which is audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. And are screen printed by hand just down the road from our studio.

As a project team, we agreed upon a layered look, yet still minimal in the nature and delivery. Each of the five models carried lights as a nod to our concept, adding a highlight to each walk. For uniformity, we dressed each of the women in Luxe Joggers from Uncivilised, a London-based independent design team. White trainers and white socks finished the sports luxe minimal aesthetic.

Our first fashion show has given us a real appetite for next year. As soon as the models had walked, we were already thinking how we’d like to present our next collection. We have plenty of ideas and are really looking forward to working with the team at Hoskin’s Hair again.

Finally, a special thank you to Deb, the show co-cordinator for asking us to participate in this year’s show – we had so much fun and enjoyed meeting so many new people.
