Wow – what a month it’s been since Nor–Folk launched and opened for business.
We’ve got our website live, the Shop open and have been adding lots more lovely content to our Journal. Over the next couple of weeks, we look forward to sharing more new products and some new faces in our growing team. Before looking ahead at next month, we couldn’t resist looking back on our first month and sharing the best bits with you here.
Stanley absolutely loved his afternoon out in London – modelling for Cissy Wears’ new look book. It was great to meet some familiar Insta-faces in the flesh too!
The EDP Norfolk Magazine dropped by to shoot our home for an upcoming feature.
We attended Norwich Fashion Week and, who knows, maybe next year we will get in on the action. Watch this space.
We selected our Nor–Folk brand reps from the overwhelming amount of entries we received. You’ll be seeing more of these little cuties over coming weeks and months.
Our Nor–Folk brand launch was featured by the world’s leading creative blog – Creative Review. You can read it here.
The amazingly talented Ali Dover came over for the afternoon and captured some beautiful images. Stanley did his best to not play ball, however, a seasoned pro like Ali, wasn’t phased – she rolled with it!
We were really touched when artist Dean Khalil asked to paint our son, Stanley. The result will always be a treasured part of our home.
We’ve been fortunate enough to add two new contributors to our Journal. First up is Hal Shinnie – a freelance editorial and advertising photographer. Hal will be serving up visual stories from the hidden corners of our beautiful home county of Norfolk. You can see Hal’s first contribution here.
The second new recruit is video artist Will Reyes. You can get a taste of Will’s work here. Will’s first contribution is due in April – we cannot wait.
Earlier this week, Fiona picked up the keys for Nor–Folk’s new studio and stock room – located in the heart of Norwich City Centre. Naturally, the first job was to toast the new space.
Here’s to the next month – which will involve welcoming our new studio manager, Sarah Everett. We will introduce Sarah properly over the next week or so.
And, finally, a big huge massive thank you to each and every one of you who have bought from our Shop, read our Journal, followed us on Instagram, liked us on Facebook or simply offered us support. We are so grateful and completely overwhelmed.
Big love from Fiona, Bobby and Stanley – the Nor–Folk.
