We’re delighted to introduce to you our first Nor–Folk Journal contributor, Brittany Bathgate.
Brittany is our style contributor for womenswear at Nor-Folk. She has worked for Ralph Lauren, lived in Australia and has returned back to Norfolk where she works in fashion. We love her effortless sense of style and we’re sure you will too.
Hi, my name is Brittany. I’m 24 years old and live in Norwich, Norfolk (UK) with my boyfriend Dean. I spend my days as a Visual Merchandiser and my nights scrolling through Pinterest and blogs for style inspiration. I also love doing a bit of interior D.I.Y at the weekend.
Through personal styling I explore the aesthetics of mixing classic and contemporary fashion, with big influences from style icons past and present. I’m a sucker for all things black, navy, grey, white or camel.
Favourite places to shop?
COS, Whistles, & Other Stories, Zara, Dover Street Market, ASOS (sometimes a lil’ bit of Topshop)
To name a few: Celine, ACNE studios, Saint Laurent, Valentino, J.W Anderson, Christopher Kane, The Row, Elizabeth and James, Isabel Marant, Victoria Beckham.
Favourite thing in my wardrobe?
Probably my Breton stripe from Comme Des Garcons PLAY. When I don’t know what to wear, I can always rely on a classic long sleeve to sort any outfit out. It’s timeless and each season it stands the test of time.
There are too many impeccably dressed women to choose just one, so a few of my all time favourites would be Sofia Coppola, Olsen twins & Leandra Medine.
As Nor-folk’s style contributor I want to bring you a monthly insight into anything and everything style related that I am loving.
I hope you enjoy,
